BREAKING: Dozens Arrested in Federal Raids in San Francisco, California

Officials say that they have arrested 32 people following a federal drug crackdown in San Francisco, California.

The arrests were made after investigators uncovered twin international trafficking operations that were distributing heroin, meth, and cocaine into the Tenderloin neighborhood, which has a notoriously high drug usage rate. The charges are the first step in an ongoing operation that seeks to clean up a nearly 50-block area near downtown.

The initiative, being carried out by 15 federal agencies, is not aiming to arrest “innocent” homeless people or drug users but would tackle high-level drug dealing, fraud, identity theft and firearms.
