A man in Superior, Montana, has been arrested after he reportedly threw a child to the ground for not removing their hat for the national anthem.
Curt Brockway reportedly picked up the child and threw him to the ground after the child had not removed their hat, despite the national anthem playing. The child suffered temporal skull fractures from the incident and was flow to Spokane, Washington, for continuing treatment.
The boy has since been released from the hospital and is continuing to recover from home. Brockway had previously pleaded guilty to an assault with a weapon charge that occurred in 2011.
