Two reputed gang members have reportedly been charged with capital murder in the shooting of an off-duty Los Angeles police officer.
Cristian Facundo, 20, of Murrieta, and Francisco Talamantes III, 24, of Temecula, are facing one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. They are accused of shooting officer Juan Jose Diaz on July 27th while the officer was with his girlfriend at a taco truck.
The gang had reportedly been lashing back at Diaz for him stopping one of them from tagging. Ashlynn Smith, 18, of Temecula, was also charged with shooting at an occupied motor vehicle and vandalism.
