A judge in San Diego has issued a warrant for a SDPD sergeant’s arrest after he failed to appear in court.
Joseph Ruvido, 49, after he was a no show at a Monday arraignment for his arrest last week. The officer was suspended without pay following the arrest for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor.
“I assure you Sgt. Ruvido will be held accountable both criminally and administratively,” police chief Nisleit said at a news conference. “We take this very, very seriously.”
