A missing four-year-old girl has reportedly been found alive in Lewisville, Texas, at a home believed to be part of a human trafficking operation.
Aubriana Recinos and her mother, Carmen Lowe, had last been seen July 8th in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Lowe reportedly defied a court order by taking her daughter out of state and was believed to be taking her to New Jersey and then into Louisiana. She was arrested in New Orleans on Thursday.
Her daughter Aubriana was then later located at a home in Lewisville, Texas, a residence that had been under investigation for possibly being involved in a human trafficking operation.
“It’s a human trafficking ring that the FBI was investigating, and these individuals have other children as well,” Fayetteville police Maj. Robert Ramirez told WNCN-TV. “The child was pretty much given to a pimp, an associate of a pimp or family of the pimp for keeping.”
