State of Emergency Issued in Missoula, Montana

A state of emergency has been issued for Missoula County, Montana, due to increased fire danger, according to NBC Montana.

The area is in “very high” fire danger due to excessive heat and high winds.

NBC Montana reports that “this emergency declaration means area incident commanders can utilize all the powers and authorities offered in the County Emergency Operations Plan.”
