Medical Examiner Rules Man’s Death to be From Natural Causes Until a Funeral Home Employee Found Multiple Stab Wounds

A Georgia man’s death had been ruled to be from natural causes, until a funeral home employee found multiple stab wounds on the man’s body.

Ray Neal’s death was determined to have been due to natural causes, according to the original medical examiner’s decision. However, this was changed after a funeral home director saw the body and saw the stab wounds on the body.

This caused the medical examiner to switch their determination, which was originally quickly decided due to the man’s previous history of hepatitis C. Police say that the two-day delay has not hurt their investigation, but have not been able to identify any possible suspects.
