Bond Set for Illinois Man Accused of Punching a Special Needs Grocery Store Employee in the Face and Kicking Them 

Bond has been set at $50,000 for an Illinois man accused of punching a grocery store bagger with special needs in the face.

Bruce Mirabella, 50, was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery. Records show that the man punched the employee in the face while in the checkout line to buy alcohol from a Jewel-Osco grocery store. He then reportedly kicked the bagger in the back before leaving.

Mirabella was taken into custody by police at his home shortly after the incident.
