BREAKING: Emergency Proclamation Signed as Wildfire Continues to Grow in Northern Arizona; Evacuations Ordered

Evacuations have been ordered near Flagstaff, Arizona, and the town’s neighbor has declared an emergency as the Museum Fire continues to grow.

The fire has reportedly now grown to 1,000 acres in the Northern part of Arizona. An evacuation has been ordered for anyone who lives or works on Mount Elden Lookout Road north of downtown. Everyone east of Weatherford Road with access to Mount Elden Lookout Road are included. A “set” order has been given to all other neighborhoods, alerting them to be ready to leave at a moments’ notice.

Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans also reportedly signed a proclamation declaring state of emergency in the town. The proclamation now goes to Arizona Governor Doug Ducey to be approved.
