Police are investigating after death threats were sent to officials with the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team, including general manager Sam Presti and coach Billy Donovan, according to Sports Illustrated and local media.
The threats were made by a man who was reportedly angry that the team traded star player Paul George.
Voicemails were reportedly left by the man saying “Y’all traded Paul George but kept Raymond Felton. You kept Andre Roberson. Do y’all not love Russell Westbrook? I hope he kill everybody. I want to kill everybody.”
The man, who said he was from Virginia, also allegedly made references to bombs and said he would “blow things up” if he was in Oklahoma.
In the calls he also allegedly said he didn’t care if the calls were reported to police and threatened general manager Sam Presti’s family.
