A male Girl Scout leader, who pleaded guilty to molesting two teenage girls, has reportedly been sentenced to six years probation.
Albert Orjuela, 44, of Mount Pleasant, will also be forced to register as a sex offender. He was arrested in January after several complaints were filed by girls’ parents, alleging sexual misconduct. He was then charged with felony sexual abuse, a misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Orjuela pleaded guilty in April to the two misdemeanor charges as part of the plea agreement and was sentenced in Mount Pleasant Town Court on Thursday.
