A mother and daughter in Illinois have been charged with their second count of murder after kidnapping and killing a woman.
Clarisa Figueroa, 46, and Desiree Figueroa, 24, were charged today with the murder of “Baby Ochoa” Yovanny Lopez. They had previously also been charged with the murder of the baby’s mother, 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez. They pleaded not guilty to that charge. Clarisa Figueora’s 40-year-old boyfriend, Piter Bobak, was previously charged with concealing the death of a person and concealing a homicide.
The baby boy reportedly died June 14th after spending weeks on life support. The Figueroas reportedly kidnapped Ochoa-Lopez after luring her to their home in Chicago with the promise of baby clothes. They then strangled her and cut the baby from her womb.
