An intruder at the University of Liverpool in the U.K. reportedly broke in and poisoned the water supply of the university’s students’ union.
Police say that a person managed to enter a restricted basement of the city centre building and poured floor cleaner and body lotion to contaminate the water. The university closed the building and no one was believed to have been sickened.
A spokesman for the university said students had been due to pick up graduation gowns from the site at the time. Police have not identified a suspect.
