An airman from Nellis Air Force base in Nevada has reportedly died after being involved in a rollover crash.
At least four other airmen were injured in the accident. The vehicle the airman was traveling in reportedly experienced a blowout of the rear left tire, causing them to lose control and roll over. Multiple passengers were ejected from the vehicle. At least one of the airmen was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
“Nellis leadership is deeply saddened by this morning’s accident and the loss of one of our own. Our focus now is on caring for them, their families, and their Wingmen. We are grateful for the quick actions of the first responders and medical professionals who are caring for our Airmen.”
