A Missouri woman has been charged after she reportedly shot a gun due to the “ridiculous” wait at a DMV.
Vanessa Richey, 34, of Kansas City, was charged with first-degree making a terrorist threat and unlawful use of a weapon after firing a gun outside a Department of Motor Vehicles office. Authorities say that the woman complained of the “ridiculous” wait times at the office, which prompted her to discharge the firearm.
An off-duty officer who heard a gunshot approached the woman and ordered her to put the gun down. No one was hurt.
