BREAKING: ISIS Sympathizer Accused of Plotting Attack on Pittsburgh Church

A Syrian man in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been arrested after he was reportedly planning to blow up a local church.

Mustafa Mousab Alowemer, 21, who came to the U.S. as a refugee in 2016, had reportedly been sympathetic to ISIS and is accused by the FBI of providing material support to the terrorist group in connection with a plot to destroy the Legacy International Worship Center. Alowemer sought the help of someone he thought was another ISIS member but who turned out to be an undercover FBI employee.

Alowemer is charged with one count of attempting to provide support to ISIS and two counts of distributing information relating to an explosive device in connection with the bomb plot.
