Over 260 Bottlenose Dolphins Have Washed Up Dead Along the Gulf Coast Since February

Officials say that around 261 bottlenose dolphins have washed up dead along the Gulf Coast since February.

The NOAA has reported that the number is three times the normal amount during the stated time. They have mostly been occurring in the northern portions of the Gulf Coast, including Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida panhandle.

The administration has stated that it is too early to determine a cause for the deaths.
