Almost 100 people have been confirmed dead in an attack on a Mali village, according to BBC News.
The attack occurred on a village called Sobame Da, which is inhabited by the Dog ethnic group.
A total of 95 people have been found dead, with around 20 others still missing.
A witness said “about 50 heavily armed men arrived on motorbikes and pickups. They first surrounded the village and then attacked — anyone who tried to escape was killed. No-one was spared — women, children, elderly people.”
