Injuries were reported Saturday during the Capital Pride Parade while running from what they thought were gunshots, according to District of Columbia Deputy Mayor Kevin Donahue.

Mayor Muriel Bowser said in a tweet that DC Fire is treating minor injuries. She didn’t specify how many people were injured.
We were on the scene at the dC Pride Parade when people started running. We saw multiple people get trampled in the stampede to get away. They may have been injured. But we didn’t hear any gunshots and police are saying it was a false alarm #DCPride
