An Ohio doctor has been charged on 25 counts of murder for the overdose deaths of several of his patients.
Former Mount Carmel doctor William S. Husel, 43, is accused of killing patients or hastening their deaths by ordering excessive doses of fentanyl, ranging from 500 micrograms to 2,000 micrograms. The typical dosage given is between 25 and 100 micrograms.
For each charge given, Husel would face 15 years to life. The victims ranged from 37 years old to 85 years old.
