A former school resource officer for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, has been arrested.
Scot Peterson, 56, was arrested for his inaction during the shooting at the high school that left 17 students and staff dead. He was booked on 11 criminal charges, including child neglect, culpable negligence, and perjury.
Peterson had been fired by the sheriff’s department alongside Sgt. Brian Miller.
