BREAKING: Former Michigan Governor and 65 Other Officials’ Phones Seized in Flint Water Crisis Investigation

Former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and 65 other officials’ phones have been confiscated in the ongoing Flint water crisis investigation.

The officials’ state-issued phones were taken via search warrants that were originally filed two weeks ago. One of the warrants lists all content from Snyder’s cellphone, iPad, and computer hard drive.

Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy have confirmed they executed a series of search warrants related to the criminal investigation of Flint’s lead-contaminated water and a deadly outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease.
