U.S. Federal Judge Federico Moreno, in a ruling on Wednesday, argued that rapper Kodak Black is a “danger to the community” based on a long criminal record, according to the Associated Press.
The hearing was an appeal to another judge’s ruling to allow the rapper to get out of jail on bond.
Black was arrested during the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami earlier this month.
According to the AP, “prosecutors say that on two occasions Black had falsified information on federal forms to purchase firearms from a Miami-area gun shop. Black purchased a 9 mm handgun, a .380-caliber handgun and a semi-automatic Mini Draco weapon, according to Assistant Attorney Bruce Brown.
