A 10-month-old boy, an 8-year-old boy, a 10-year-old girl, and a 27-year-old woman were shot on Memorial Day at Seattle’s Pritchard Island Beach Park, according to police.
The 10-month-old boy was in the arms of his mother when both were shot in the back seat of a parked car, police said.
Harborview Medical Center said the mother and her baby are in critical condition. The 8-year-old boy was first listed as critical but has been upgraded to serious condition. The fourth victim, the 10-year-old girl, is in satisfactory condition.
Police said, according to witnesses, two groups of people started shooting at each other in the parking lot of the park.
Witnesses said they heard more than a dozen gunshots and saw two cars drive off immediately after. No arrests have been made.
