The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced the recall of around 62,000 pounds of ground beef, days before Memorial Day.
The recall primarily covers largely cuts of steak, including ribeyes, ribs and brisket, that were packaged April 19th at the Aurora Packing Co. in North Aurora, Illinois. They can be identified by the establishment number EST. 788 inside the USDA mark of inspection.
You can view a spreadsheet of all the recalled products here. The meats are believed to be contaminated by E.coli.
