A 900-pound man in Emporia, Virginia, will need to have some walls to his home cut down so that he can attend court.
Kenneth Hicks has pleaded guilty to his role in a cocaine conspiracy case. However, he was unable to get to court due to his weight and inability to transport himself out of the house. He lives in a dwelling attached to the rear of a mobile home. Surrounding trees may also need to be cut down in order to facilitate the transportation.
Hicks has asked that the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, first responders, and others assess any medical issues he may have.
