Five people aboard an Air Canada Express plane were injured on Friday when the plane was hit by a fuel truck on the tarmac at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Friday.  An Air Canada Express flight had departed for Ontario but was forced to return due to “foggy conditions” at the destination. While taxiing towards the gate, a tanker truck hit the aircraft.
