Delta Receiving Pushback After Appearing to Suggest That Buying Video Games are a Better Purchase than Union Dues

Delta Airlines has come under fire after they appeared to suggest in an internal message that employees should buy video games instead of paying their union dues.

The message was printed on a flyer and reportedly distributed in Delta break rooms, one of a few messages printed on internal flyers. It appears to indicate employees should buy video games instead of the $700 per year dues that they pay into their union.

“What does $700 mean to you?” another asks. “Nothing’s more enjoyable than a night out watching football with your buddies. All those union dues you pay every year could buy a few rounds.”
