BREAKING: Large Earthquake Strikes Papua New Guinea

A powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake has reportedly struck the island of Papua New Guinea.

The quake struck around 37 kilometers northwest of Bulolo. It reportedly hit at a depth of 137 kilometers.

It is unclear if any damage or injuries have been reported. There are no threats of a tsunami, according to the USGS.
