Ken Kercheval, known for his role as Cliff Barnes on the hit show “Dallas,” has died. He was 83. A spokesperson at the Frist Funeral Home in Kercheval’s hometown of Clinton, Indiana, confirmed the actor’s death. Kercheval passed away on Sunday, Deadline reported. The cause of death is unknown.
Throughout his career, Kercheval made frequent guest appearances on TV series including, “The Defenders” in the 1960s to “ER” and “Diagnosis Murder” in the 1990s and 2000s, but it was his starring role as Texas businessman Cliff Barnes in CBS’s “Dallas” from 1978 to 1991 that made him famous. He is survived by his three children.
