North Korea Reportedly Billed The U.S. for Otto Warmbier’s Hospital Care

North Korea reportedly billed the U.S. for $2 million for the hospital care of Otto Warmbier.

North Korea insisted that a U.S. official sign a pledge to pay the bill before returning Warmbier, who was arrested while visited Pyongyang. The official reportedly signed the pledge on the order of President Trump, although it is unclear if the administration has paid the bill.

The White House has not commented on the report.
