UPDATE: Cal State Los Angeles says that they have 656 students and staff in quarantine currently, with 131 already cleared.
Health officials have issued quarantine orders for over 600 students and staff at UCLA and Cal State Los Angeles over measles concerns.
It is not clear the exact number of students and staff quarantined at each individual university. More than 500 students, faculty, and staff who may have come into contact with a student who contracted measles were screened as well.
Those that are quarantined are expected to be held for 24-48 hours while medical records are gathered.
