At least four people are dead, including two children, after tornadoes hit from eastern Texas to Mississippi on Saturday and Saturday night. The storms are now spreading eastward.
At least two people were killed and several more injured in Monroe County, Mississippi, after a potentially large tornado swept through on Saturday night. The Monroe County coroner reports that several people remain missing. Multiple homes were damaged in the town of Hamilton. Two children were killed and more than a dozen people were injured across the South. Severe weather will continue through the end of the weekend with Ohio, Pennsylvania, and southern New York to northern Florida at risk.
