Mark Riddell, the test taker in the college admissions scandal that involved several celebrities, has pleaded guilty.
Riddell pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. He reportedly was paid to pose as a high school student when taking SAT and ACT tests for teenagers looking to get into notable universities.
He was reportedly paid $10,000 per test. Prosecutors want Riddell to serve 36 months of supervised release and a pay $239,449.42 fine, which is believed to be the amount he gained from the crimes.
