An elementary school in Northeast Philadelphia has been placed on lockdown after a report of a student armed with a gun.
Philadelphia police responded to the J. Hampton Moore School on the after receiving a call. Police put the school on lockdown at 8:40 a.m. Numerous police vehicle including a SWAT unit were seen outside of the school.
UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted after police confirm a student was carrying a toy gun, not a real one.
