Florida Man Drives Stolen Car Back to the Scene of the Crime to Ask If Anyone Found His Missing Cellphone

A man in Lakeland, Florida, was arrested after he reportedly took the Jeep he stole back to the scene of the crime to look for his stolen cellphone.

25-year-old Ronnie Dillon Willis arrived at the home of the victim in the tan Jeep Patriot, where he was greeted by  a Polk County Sheriff’s deputy who was conducting an interview regarding the stolen vehicle. The deputy was shocked to see the suspect return to the scene, but promptly arrested him for grand theft auto and driving with a suspended license.

The suspect reportedly had returned to the home to ask if anyone had found his missing cellphone, which had reportedly pinged back to the residence where he took the Jeep earlier in the day.
