A woman reportedly died after she had to wait 11 hours to see a doctor inside a hospital emergency room inNew Brunswick, Canada.
The woman, 58-year-old Marianne Porter, was hunched over and experiencing pain while breathing as she waited for a doctor in the emergency room at Moncton Hospital. Her vitals were reportedly normal, but she continued to complain and endure severe pain and labored breathing.
After finally being attended to by a doctor, she was being treated overnight before her kidneys shut down and she died in the morning. Overcrowding has become a major issue at hospitals in New Brunswick, and is believed to have been the reason for the extreme wait time.
