A State of Emergency has been declared in the state of Missouri by Governor Mike Parson.
Parson issued the emergency declaration in response to rising flood waters and widespread flood damage in the state. Several levees have been threatened by the flooding and road closures have been reported in many areas.
The city of Craig has mandatory evacuations ordered earlier this week due to the continued rising of the Missouri River.
