BREAKING: Mandatory Evacuation Issued for Missouri City

A mandatory evacuation has been issued for the city of Craig, Missouri, due to rising flood waters.

The evacuation comes after about 200 miles of levees were either breached or overtopped in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas due to continuously rising flood waters. The swollen Missouri River is expected to crest on Thursday, but officials warn it could take some time for the waters to recede.

Those that are choosing to ignore the evacuation are advised to give their names and addresses at either City Hall or over the phone in case they are in need of rescue.
