An unvaccinated student at a school in New York City is reportedly the cause of at least 21 other people at the school coming down with measles.
The measles outbreak occurred at the Yeshiva Kehilath Yakov school last week, as New York City continues to battle its biggest measles outbreak in the past decade. None of the people who came down with the disease were vaccinated against it.
The school had reportedly gone against warnings by the city to not admit students that did not have vaccinations as an emergency measure to prevent the spread of the disease. They have since reversed this decision and chose to comply.
