A Florida police officer has been accused of using a Bradenton Police database to find women to date.

An internal investigation revealed that former Sergeant Leonel Marines had been using the database to find the phone numbers of women who he would then ask out on dates. The investigation had started last June, after a woman filed a complaint against him after he came to her parents’ house hoping to speak with her.

The internal investigation has ended, but an FBI investigation into Marines’ conduct is still ongoing. Marines had been with the department for 12 years.
