A man in Sarasota, Florida, has been charged after he reportedly shot at an ambulance that was responding to his 911 call.
Tyran Young, 32, is facing multiple felony charges stemming from the January incident where he reportedly called 911 to report a fall he had. When first responders arrived to help the man, he reportedly opened fire on their ambulance, prompting police to respond to the scene.
Multiple bullet holes were found in the ambulance, but no one was hurt in the incident. Police added that Young is a five time convicted felon and that they have since changed protocol in their response to calls.
