The dean at Rider University’s of College Business Administration has resigned after the school did not allow a Chick-fil-A on campus.
The school says that they decided not to allow the fast food restaurant on campus because of their opposition to the LGBT community. Cynthia Newman, the former dean, said her views as a “very committed Christian” and the fast food chain’s views “mirror” one another.
The university released a survey to their students last year asking about which restaurants they wanted on campus. They then sent a second survey without Chick-fil-A listed because of the aforementioned reason.
