The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office in Oregan says a man who was stuck in the snow five days used a few taco sauce packets he had as food before a snowmobiler found him Friday.
The snowmobiler found 36-year-old Jeremy Taylor and his dog at around 2:15 p.m. Friday. Taylor and his dog were found in good condition, but they were hungry after being stuck in the snow for five days. Taylor told police that he got stuck in the snow and he was unable to move his vehicle. Taylor said he tried to walk out, but the deep snow made it difficult and he and his dog went back to the vehicle. He said he stayed warm over the next four days by periodically starting his vehicle and he used a few taco sauce packets he had as food.
