Massive Northern California Search Continues For Missing Sisters Ages 5 and 8

A massive search in Northern California for two missing sisters, ages 8 and 5, went into its third day on Sunday and the local sheriff said.

Two young sisters have been found alive after wandering away from their Northern, California, home and spending two cold nights in the forest, according to their mother.

The girls, 8-year-old Leia Carrico, and her 5-year-old sister, Caroline, were found by rescuers Sunday morning in rural Humboldt County, their mother, Misty Carrico, told ABC News. The girls went missing Friday afternoon.
