Grandmother Posing For a Photo on an Iceberg Had to be Rescued When She Floated Out to Sea

A 77-year-old grandmother from Texas climbed on a throne-shaped iceberg during a recent trip to Iceland when a wave dislodged the ice.

Judith Streng said after her picture was taken on the ice, “it started to totter and a wave was coming in. A very large wave came in and kind of made the throne kind of rock, and I could tell that I was slipping off.” Streng told ABC News that her rescuer was Randy Lacount, a boat captain from Florida who witnessed her float away.
