New Orleans Police say that three of the five innocent bystanders in a February 17th shooting were shot by officers.
The uniformed officers involved in the shooting were not reportedly wearing bodycams at the time and the undercover officers involved are not required to wear them. Five people were injured and the gunman was fatally shot in the incident.
None of the victims’ injuries were considered to be life-threatening.The gunman was later identified by the coroner as Reginald Bursey, 32. He was allegedly connected to a gang out of Houston.
