A State of Emergency has been declared in Kentucky by Governor Matt Bevin due to continuing flooding across the state.
Kentucky has suffered from widespread flooding due to heavy rains that fell across the area. Dams across the state have required record amounts of discharge and have led to more flooding conditions.
The declaration will allow easier movement of emergency crews to access the places most damaged by the flooding.
