A gunman opened fire inside of a business in Northeast, D.C. Thursday morning killing one man and injuring the another.
The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. inside of the Trojan Labor office. Police said that a gunman walked into the building and opened fired on the two men who were in the office area. Both men were shot multiple times. The owner was hospitalized, but the second man was killed. The business was open and other people were inside. Robbery does appear to be the motive. The suspect fled on foot and there is no known motive for the shooting.
