Florida Man Accused of Being Fake Doctor that Claimed to Have Cured Diabetes

A Florida man has been arrested after he was reportedly passing off as a doctor that had cured diabetes.

Onelio Hipolit-Gonzalez, 73, advertised his services on an advertisement website for the Hispanic community called “Elclassificado.” Investigators found out that Gonzalez had been operating without a medical license. 

Then, deputies say they discovered the story of one patient who visited his practice. He took the persons blood pressure and ran “tests” that showed the person had diabetes, then offering them a cure for $2,000.
